5 Months Till Competition

Considering how fast spring and summer usually fly by, competition seems much closer. But it's still 5 months away according to the calendar...
I'm very excited about learning so much new stuff with my new teacher. The technique he teaches is different from what I learned with my other teacher. But I finally get to compete at silver level which means I'm learning lots of new patterns for each dance. I graduated to silver 3 years ago with my old teacher so I think it's about time. And, although I feel I am dancing at a higher level already after only 3 months - and my teacher even said so a couple of weeks ago - I'm frustrated with myself. I feel like I'm playing catch up and at times it's hard to remember so many new things at once.
The good news I still have 5 months to pull it together - mentally and physically. And by God's grace, I will.
