Mom had doctor visits this week w/ her neurologist and cardiologist. Yesterday, the neurologist took her off of her med for dizziness. He also scheduled her for an EEG on Tuesday to see if there is any bleeding in her brain still. If not, she can go off of the anti-seizure med. Today the cardiologist said that he will send some machine to the house that will monitor her pacemaker periodically so she won't have to come see him for another six months.
She is doing really well and often walks w/o her cane...even when she has it in her hand...she doesn't put it down on the ground to assist her. Her memory is really good although when pressed by therapists, etc she gets frustrated and can't find the answer. She can spell it but she can't say it. Interesting phenomnon, this stroke...
